Op de tekenfilms van Walt Disney zijn vijf attractieparken gebaseerd. Disneyland in Anaheim dicht bij Los Angeles, het Magic Kingdom in het Walt Disney World Resort in Orlando, Florida, Tokyo Disneyland in Tokio, Japan, Disneyland Resort Paris dichtbij Parijs in Frankrijk en Hong Kong Disneyland dichtbij Hongkong in China. Disneyland opende zijn deuren in 1955, Walt Disney World Resort volgde in 1971, daarna kwamen Tokyo in 1983, Parijs in 1992 en Hongkong in 2005. In Disneyland, Walt Disney World, Tokyo Disneyland & Disneyland Paris is er telkens een standbeeld voor hem opgericht genaamd “PARTNERS”. Het standbeeld toont Walt met aan zijn linkerhand Mickey Mouse.
